FREE FESTIVALS ’77

What happened to the free festivals of ’76? Will ’77 be a better year?

In past years at Windsor, then Watchfield, we had a wide range of bands appearing, some travelling from all parts of the country to participate.

Last year the Seasalter free festival was the worst since it originated at Windsor in ’72. Near the end of the ’74 Windsor free festival inspector thug and the brutality squad were let loose on those remaining in the great park. The pigs only came on to the site when the crowd had become much smaller, they wouldn’t have dared moving in earlier. The authorities refusing the granting of a site and- pig harassement were blamed for the almost non existant bands and 2000 max crowd at Seasalter last year…….

……….BUT IF A LARGE ENOUGH CROWD HAD ARRIVED THE PIGS AND AUTHORITIES WOULD HAVE BEEN POWERLESS.

The Case Of The Antique Coke Sniffer

After the trial finished spike tried to interview Jagger for the roxette but Mick snorted and speeded off. Later in a secret interview with the poxette Kieth Richard, the 35 year old antique coke sniffer (available at Harrods, alesbury crown court and other fine places.) said that if he appealed and failed he might not be able to get another visa for LAylesbury. Asked what he thought of alesbury, he said “Dunno, never tried it, hey don’t it make your head swell and give you delusions.” “Yeh, alesbury’s great, put it on your T shirt, smear it on your hair, it cleans nylons………..”
