CETOID DOORS VAPORISE!

A huge explosion rent the air. When the smoke, shit and filth cleared cleared away the door had been blown into a lateral time warp. Nothing, it seemed, could prevent the enraged mob from penartrating the inner sanctum. But, there has to be a but. It came from Framekendall, who whipped out their secret weapon and stuffed it into the HAPPYTRAILFARTHERALONG FUTURE GAMECASSETTEAVATOR and PLUNKl A note flew out. 0h no! A four hour bootleg cassette of Gerry Garcia gigging at the Fillmore! What could the mob of crazed peons do? They vanished in a trice, leaving Brent alone, a depress-ion swept over Aylesbury. Brent raged in vain.

INTERVIEW TIME, KIDS

The interview below is the first in a series exclusive to the Poxette. The subject, Kris Knees, kindly spared some time in the intermission between The Vibrators and Iggy at friars.

POXETTE: “The first thing I’d like to ask you is how do you react to The Vibrators?

CN: “I thought they were good, really great.”

P: Really? I thought they were atrocious.”

CN: “Well yes. I thought they were as well. Bloody awful.

P: I gather from your recent Zig Zag work that you’re really into the New Wave phenomenon, and consequently feel strongly about the so-called “boring old farts” such as the Stones.”

CN: “Well, yes. It’s, er…..like a breath of fresh air…”

P: “Why then, did you write the Keith Richkid piece for the Roxette, “dedicated to Keith, Mick and the Stones” (Roxette 6)

(NO REPLY)

P: “….er, Chris…”
